Thanks Newbie….appreciate your time and efforts getting a recap out after every game. I missed the game last night so especially appreciated the highlights. Good win for the boys.

Also like this bit from MacIntyre:

At 12:19 of the first period, Zadorov entangled himself in the angry ball of hair that is Arizona shift-disturber Liam O’Brien. All shaggy, matted beard and flying fists, O’Brien was pounded in a fight a few minutes after the Coyote threw five unanswered punches at Sam Lafferty as the Canuck was trying to get through the bench door on a change.

Zadorov shoved O’Brien’s head down as long as possible after the fight, then barked at him as they sat in the penalty box.

“I mean, the guy's going by the bench and calling everybody bad words, and then jumped my teammate,” Zadorov explained. “I feel like that was a little payback for sure.”

Nice to have that snarl come playoffs

The next add should be some more snarl. I have a few in mind. Gotta be a player not just a knuckle dragger.

Really hope they don't go after Guenzel. He'd be a great player to have for sure, but I think the cost to get him and then extend him wouldn't be beneficial in the long run. Stay away from that top-heavy Leafs setup

No team has played more road games than the Canucks. Flames & Kraken only teams to tie us at 25. Just one more detail to add to this fantastic 45 game start.

Too much too soon & cannot afford to resign him. If they did it’d be pretty much a retool once Petey & Hronek are also signed. The cap squeeze would cost substantial support players to leave.

Even after the high cost I tried many ACGM’s & didn’t like what it led to.

A cup would make it worthwhile but there is never a guarantee. The steep price is rough enough & no cup would be a huge setback. Guentzel would have to be willing to resign for about 7m to make it work.

Thanks NY.

Arizona plays fast and moves really well.

Kuzmenko for Victor Olofsson from Buffalo?

Thought on that a number of times. Save cap space but he is inconsistent & more of a sideways move. Kind of another Beauvillier. Just my 2 bits.

Since odds are slim Pinto gets moved I keep coming back to Monahan. He seems over his injury woes but still risky. The price would be affordable. Other potentials targets out there?

Kings lose to Nashville.
Oilers defeat Seattle.

On the 25th of November, Edmonton was 16 points behind LA…On the 30th of December Edmonton was 10 points behind LA.

Today, they are 1 point ahead of LA.

They're 6 points behind Vegas with 4 games in hand. If they win them all (which isn't impossible, they're on a 12 game heater), then they'll be in 2nd and 6 points behind the Canucks

Would be excellent to see a Canucks/Oilers matchup in the PO's!!

Totally agree 👍👍

A nice 4 game sweep & well rested & less chance of injuries could set up the Canucks for a cup.

I'd do it for Christian Wolanin and PDG. I don't know how much he would play though. I guess since Kuzmenko going to press box and either Hoglander or Lafferty is going to move up and a spot open on the 4th.

Trigger warning.

Honestly, it would be hard to dispute now that they don't have a legit shot.

I wasnt thinking of acquiring him as a top 6 player. He provides a bit of snarl with some timely goals.
